EDITORIAL PROCESS
The Editorial Committee conducts the first round of review to select the submissions to be sent for blind review by specialists in the topic. Both the rounds of the review are based on the fixed criteria, viz, originality (contribution to knowledge; originality of argument); research (breadth and depth of research; accuracy and extent of evidence); understanding and presentation of literature; treatment of relevant theory or theories and engagement with alternative arguments; & style (organization; clarity; creativity). The decision-making process follows the principles of fairness, confidentiality and objectivity. The Editorial Committee takes special efforts to ensure that the evaluation of submissions is solely based on their intellectual content and without regard to factors such as gender, caste, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors. Depending upon the outcome of the blind review process, the Editorial Committee selects 5-10 submissions for a specific issue. The Editorial Committee informs the authors about the acceptance or rejection. In case of papers that are accepted for publication, the review reports are shared with the author(s) for revision, if needed, followed by copy-editing.
